One morning on the third day of November last year, I saw a blog post by a professor of mine. On that blog, he told how much he missed his pen and longed to write once again. I got inspired by the words he used and without actually realising what I was doing next, I took my pen and a scratch, then immediately began to write. It took me less than an hour to get the poem done as if the words were just there, only that a trigger's missing to write them on that paper I'd used. That day was indeed amazing.
I sent the poem in his friendster account and posted it on Poet Sanctuary (well, almost all of my poems I did last year were posted there). He sent me a thank you message saying he's happy and that he would treasure it. I was touched by his words again. I never knew that a poem I've written could actually make someone happy.

Hopefully, I could write more poems that would touch people's hearts and souls; to see them smile after reading my works or to see them cry after being touched by a heartfelt poem is somehting I secretly wish for.
